I met this week with a potential client, who was opening a new hair salon and needed a website. She was so well prepared for the meeting, that I am inspired to write about it. She had really done her homework, so by the time I showed up, she had the answers to many of the questions I needed to ask. So let’s talk about what that first meeting with your web designer is going to be like, and what you can do to prepare for it. After all, the better you prepare, the better your designer will know what you want, and the better he’ll be able to estimate what the project will cost. Website horror stories

I say it all the time: If you have a website, you almost certainly have a horror story to tell. I can’t tell you how many times – how many hundreds of times – I’ve met someone at a networking function, or been called on the phone, and been drawn into a conversation about a website project gone terribly bad.
